India could be in for a huge medal rush at the Commonwealth Games 2026 on Saturday, with the country having the potential to add up to **25 more medals**. India currently have **23 medals — 5 gold, 12 silver and 6 bronze**. The boxing contingent has already guaranteed at least 10 medals after all 10 Indian boxers advanced to the finals. With leading names such as **Lovlina Borgohain and Jaismine** competing, India could potentially finish with as many as 10 gold medals in boxing. Judo also remains a medal opportunity, with four Indian judokas in action after the country has already secured three medals in the discipline.
Athletics will provide several more chances, with **Praveen Chithravel and Selva Prabhu Thirumaran** competing in the men's triple jump final, while **Priyanka Goswami and Ravina Gayakwad** will feature in the women's 10,000m race walk final. **Dev Kumar Meena and Kuldeep Kumar** will contest the men's pole vault final, while **Gulveer Singh** takes part in the men's 5000m final.
