A simple social media message turned into the beginning of one of the entertainment industry's most celebrated love stories. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas recently revisited the moment that first connected them during an appearance on the Hey Jonas podcast. Looking back at their early interaction, the couple shared how an unexpected direct message eventually led to their journey together.

Nick revealed that he first came to know about Priyanka through his brother, Kevin Jonas. He said, "My introduction to you was by way of Kevin saying, 'Hey, have you seen this show on ABC? It's called Quantico.' And I said, 'I have not.' And then, as he's talking about it, I look up on Sunset Boulevard, and there's a billboard of your face. So then I go to Twitter, and I'm like, 'I wonder if she follows me,' which you did. I sent you a direct message." Priyanka added, "That's such a crazy story because Kevin and I like the same shows, and Nick and I never like the same shows." During the podcast, the couple also shared a screenshot of their first conversation, where Nick had written, "Hello. I've heard from a few people that we should meet. I have to agree with these people. Are you in LA anytime soon?" Priyanka replied, "Hey. Graham's told me so much about you. Let's text. More private. My team can access this."

Joe and Kevin Jonas added a light-hearted touch by dramatically reenacting the conversation, while Nick and Priyanka laughed throughout the segment. Nick had first messaged Priyanka in 2016 after hearing about her from mutual friends. The two met in person at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in 2017, started dating in 2018, got engaged during a trip to Greece in July that year, and married in December 2018 at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur with both Hindu and Christian wedding ceremonies.

The couple welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, through surrogacy in January 2022. Today, Priyanka and Nick continue to share glimpses of their family life while dividing their time between India and the United States, reflecting on how a single message on social media became the foundation of a lasting relationship.
