Motherhood has reshaped Kajal Aggarwal's outlook on her career, with the actress revealing that her film selections are now driven by a stronger sense of responsibility. Every script is evaluated through the lens of what her son, Neil Kitchlu, would think, reflecting how her personal life has influenced the stories she wants to be part of.

In a recent interview, Kajal shared that her biggest aspiration is to choose films that will make Neil proud. She also revealed that her son is currently fascinated by the *Ramayana*, making her role as Mandodari—the Queen of Lanka and Ravana's wife—in Nitesh Tiwari's much-awaited *Ramayana* even more meaningful. Kajal hopes it will be the first film she watches with her son. Although her role in the first installment is limited, she will have a significantly larger presence in the sequel, which is scheduled to release during Diwali 2027, when Neil will be five years old.

Apart from *Ramayana*, Kajal will also feature in the upcoming investigative drama *The India Story*. Since marrying entrepreneur Gautam Kitchlu in 2020, she has continued to balance family life with a successful acting career. Known for acclaimed films such as *Magadheera*, *Darling*, *Sardaar Gabbar Singh*, *Businessman*, and Brahmotsavam, Kajal remains one of the leading stars of South Indian cinema, with her latest choices reflecting both her professional growth and her journey as a mother.
