FASTag Annual Pass Fee to Increase from April 1, 2026, NHAI Announces New Rate for FY 2026–27

New Delhi | 15 March 2026

The National Highways Authority of India has announced a revision in the fee for the FASTag Annual Pass for the financial year 2026–27. According to the official update, the fee will increase from ₹3,000 to ₹3,075, and the revised rate will come into effect from April 1, 2026. The change has been made in line with the "National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008."

The FASTag Annual Pass is designed for eligible non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag and can be used at around 1,150 toll plazas across national highways and expressways in the country. The facility allows vehicle owners to make a one-time payment instead of repeatedly recharging their FASTag accounts. The pass remains valid for one year or up to 200 toll plaza crossings.

Once the payment is completed, the annual pass gets activated on the vehicle’s existing FASTag within two hours. Users can complete the payment through the Rajmarg Yatra App or through the official website of the National Highways Authority of India, making the process simple and convenient.

The FASTag Annual Pass was introduced on August 15, 2025, and has received a strong response from highway users across India. With more than 56 lakh users already opting for the facility, the pass has become a convenient and cost-effective travel option for private vehicle owners using national highways regularly.
