Indian Army Celebrates Diwali at Forward Posts Along LoC
New Delhi, October 05, 2026
Diwali brought festive cheer to Indian Army personnel deployed along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district. At forward posts in the Nowshera sector, soldiers came together to celebrate the festival of lights, creating moments of joy and togetherness amid their demanding duties along the border.
Separated from their families and loved ones during the festive occasion, the troops celebrated Diwali with their fellow soldiers, sharing the warmth and spirit of the festival. Their celebrations reflected the strong bond among the personnel, as they marked the special day away from home while continuing their commitment to guarding the nation's frontiers.
