“Kyu Desh Ko Kharab Kar Raha Hai, Bhai?”: CJP Founder Abhijeet Dipke Confronted at Delhi Airport as Co-Conveners Sent to Tihar Jail

New Delhi, October 14, 2026

A video showing Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke being confronted at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport has gone viral on social media. The incident comes amid tensions surrounding the youth-led organisation, with two of its co-conveners recently sent to judicial custody over a protest at Jantar Mantar.

The video shows a person confronting Dipke at the airport and asking, “Kyu desh ko kharab kar raha hai, bhai?” The exchange has attracted attention on social media as the organisation continues to face scrutiny over its protest activities.

CJP co-conveners Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have been sent to five days of judicial custody at Tihar Jail. They were arrested on October 13 after allegedly crossing police barricades to enter Jantar Mantar while carrying the national flag. Their associate, Ajinkya Shinde, was released on a personal bond.

Reacting to the arrests, Dipke accused the Narendra Modi government of targeting young protesters and described the situation as an “unofficial Emergency.” The organisation has also announced a ‘Lehra Do Tiranga’ march at Central Park in Connaught Place, urging supporters to participate with the national flag.

Founded in May 2026, the CJP has gained attention through campaigns concerning examination irregularities and voter-list revisions. The latest arrests and the viral airport confrontation have once again brought the organisation and its protest activities into focus.
