Ram Charan and filmmaker Sukumar are preparing to reunite for their upcoming project, tentatively titled RC17, which has already generated considerable interest among moviegoers. According to recent reports, Sara Arjun is being considered for the female lead opposite Ram Charan. Although discussions with the actress have reportedly begun, the makers are yet to sign a formal agreement or make an official announcement confirming her involvement.

The film is reportedly scheduled to have its traditional launch ceremony later this month, with October 25 or 26 being considered as possible dates. The final schedule will depend on the selection of an auspicious time for the ceremony. Regular shooting is expected to begin a few weeks after the launch, as the production team prepares to move forward with the project.

Sara Arjun, who has previously been associated with Telugu cinema through filmmaker Gunasekhar’s Euphoria, could take on another prominent role if her casting is finalised. Meanwhile, RC17 will mark Ram Charan and Sukumar’s reunion after their successful collaboration on Rangasthalam. Their upcoming project has raised expectations among fans, although details about the storyline and other cast members remain under wraps.

Adding to the anticipation, music composers Anirudh Ravichander and Shashwat Sachdev are reportedly in discussions to join the film. However, the makers have yet to confirm the music team officially. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, RC17 is reportedly being planned on a grand scale with a substantial budget and is targeting a theatrical release in 2028.

With casting discussions, the launch ceremony and the music team attracting attention, RC17 continues to generate buzz ahead of its expected production start. Fans are now awaiting official confirmation from the makers regarding Sara Arjun’s potential role, the launch date and other key details of the Ram Charan–Sukumar reunion.
