After days of extreme heat and rising temperatures, Delhi finally received relief as thunderstorms, rain and strong winds swept across the city. The sudden change in weather brought down temperatures and offered a much-needed break from the intense summer conditions that had affected daily life across the capital.

Several parts of Delhi-NCR witnessed lightning, gusty winds and moderate rainfall, leading to cooler weather and cloudy skies. The rain not only reduced the heat but also improved the atmosphere in many areas, as residents experienced a noticeable drop in temperature after continuous hot and dry days.

The India Meteorological Department stated that more rainfall and thunderstorm activity could continue over the next few days. Officials also advised people to stay alert during sudden weather changes, especially during periods of strong winds and lightning across the region.

While the showers have temporarily eased the harsh weather, authorities believe the heat could return later in the week. For now, Delhi residents are enjoying a brief pause from the scorching summer as the city experiences a refreshing change in conditions.
