The agitation by students over the JPSC and JSSC examination controversy continued for the thirteenth consecutive day in Jharkhand, with protesters remaining at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium in Ranchi and demanding action on their concerns. The issue also dominated the opening day of the Monsoon Session of the Jharkhand Assembly, drawing significant political attention.

The BJP and NDA legislators staged a protest within the Assembly premises, alleging irregularities in the recruitment process. Chief Whip Naveen Jaiswal called for the Chief Minister's resignation and demanded a CBI investigation into the matter. Earlier, a BJP delegation met the protesting students, where senior BJP leader Amar Bauri alleged that ministerial influence had affected recruitments. Responding to the accusations, Minister Sudivya Kumar said that relatives of political leaders had also secured government jobs during the BJP's tenure, adding that the party lacked the moral authority to level such allegations. Minister Chamra Linda stated that the real responsibility lay with the examination mafia rather than either the ruling party or the Opposition.

The investigation into the case has also gathered pace. The CID arrested five more accused from Ranchi and Lucknow, including an accountant associated with TDPL Company. With these latest arrests, the total number of people taken into custody in connection with the case has reached nineteen.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren has directed officials to ensure a fair and impartial investigation. A four-member ministerial committee is expected to hold discussions with the protesting students in an attempt to find a resolution. The outcome of these talks, along with the CID's ongoing investigation, is likely to play a crucial role in determining the next phase of the controversy.
