Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday chaired a high-level meeting in New Delhi to review the situation in key sectors, including petroleum, crude oil, natural gas, power, and fertilisers. The meeting focused on ensuring uninterrupted supply, stable logistics, and efficient distribution systems across the country amid the evolving situation in West Asia.


The discussion highlighted the government’s preparedness to manage any potential disruptions in global energy supplies. Emphasis was placed on maintaining adequate reserves, strengthening supply chains, and ensuring that essential services and industries continue to function smoothly without any shortages.


Several senior ministers attended the meeting, including Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nirmala Sitharaman, S. Jaishankar, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hardeep Singh Puri, Piyush Goyal, JP Nadda, K. Rammohan Naidu, Manohar Lal Khattar, and Ashwini Vaishnaw.
