PM Modi Extends Navratri Greetings on Day 4, Pays Tribute to Goddess Kushmanda

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended his greetings to the nation on the fourth day of Chaitra Navratri, which is dedicated to Goddess Kushmanda. In a message shared on social media platform X, the Prime Minister expressed reverence for the goddess, highlighting her as a symbol of courage and spiritual strength.


“I bow in reverence to Maa Kushmanda — the embodiment of indomitable courage and spiritual power! May her divine energy awaken a new consciousness within every heart,” he said. In another post, he added, “There is immense power in devotion to the Mother. Devotees’ hearts are filled with positive energy through the veneration of Devi Ma,” while sharing a devotional song.


Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also conveyed his wishes, praying for happiness, prosperity, and good health for all. He described Goddess Kushmanda as a form of supreme energy and creation, expressing hope that her blessings bring well-being to all.


Goddess Kushmanda, worshipped on the fourth day of Navratri, is believed to be the creator of the universe and a source of cosmic energy. Devotees across the country visited temples in large numbers, offering prayers and seeking blessings. Navratri, celebrated over nine days, honours the nine forms of Goddess Durga and holds deep religious significance for millions of devotees.
