The much-anticipated sequel Dhurandhar 2 has taken the global box office by storm, crossing the ₹500 crore mark within just three days of its release. Starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has delivered record-breaking numbers, emerging as one of the fastest-grossing Hindi films in recent times.
The film, which released on March 19 following strong paid previews, saw an explosive opening. It collected ₹75 crore from previews and added ₹165 crore on its first day. Despite a slight dip on Friday, the film maintained strong momentum and crossed ₹350 crore globally within two days. On its third day, Saturday, the film recorded a massive ₹113 crore net collection in India, pushing its domestic total to ₹339 crore net and over ₹400 crore gross.
Internationally, the film has also performed exceptionally well. After a strong opening overseas, collections picked up again on Saturday, taking its international earnings to around $16 million. This pushed the worldwide total to approximately ₹545 crore in just three days. Trade analysts now expect the film to cross ₹700 crore globally by the end of its opening weekend.
With these figures, Dhurandhar 2 has already surpassed the lifetime collections of major films like War and Dunki, and has become the highest-grossing Indian film of 2026 so far. The film also features R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in key roles. Given its strong performance, the film is expected to enter the list of all-time highest-grossing Bollywood films soon.
