New Delhi, Oct 26, 2025: A 20-year-old Delhi University student suffered acid burns on both hands after being attacked near Lakshmibai College in northwest Delhi’s Ashok Vihar area on Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 10 am when the victim, a second-year non-college student, had gone to the college for an extra class. According to Delhi Police, the main accused, identified as her stalker Jitender, along with two associates, Ishan and Arman, allegedly threw acid on her before fleeing the scene on a motorcycle.The student was able to shield her face, avoiding more severe injuries, and was immediately taken to Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital.
